Tennis Sportwall XerPro

xerprowallSt. Andrew’s Parks and Playground has a great new Tennis practice tool: the Sportwall XerPro.

The Sportwall XerPro provides tennis players of all ages a fun, innovative training device. The Sportwall offers drills, games and much more, and will be utilized by the St. Andrew’s tennis program in a variety of ways.

The Sportwall was purchased by St. Andrew’s for community use via the $10,000 grant St. Andrew’s Parks and Playground received in 2010 from the USTA when Charleston was named the USTA’s  “Best Tennis Town in America.”

The Sportwall is FREE to use when it is not being used as part of a paid St. Andrew’s tennis program, such as a private lesson or group drills, etc.

Hours: The Sportwall is available daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. if the court is not in use (the Sportwall is installed against the barrier fence on one of the St. Andrew’s tennis courts). If the court is open, players wishing to use the Sportwall are encouraged to share the device, as it features multi-player training options.

Instructions on use of the Sportwall will be posted adjacent to the control box mounted on the fence; seek out a St. Andrew’s tennis professional if you have questions on how to use the Sportwall.

The Sportwall is not available during league play, which occur most weekday mornings and evenings at St. Andrew’s.

The Sportwall will also be utilized in St. Andrew’s tennis boot camps and classes.

Rental Times and Fees: Players wishing to reserve the Sportwall for individual use may do so on a seasonal schedule basis. Costs are expected to be $15 for 30 minutes, or $10 for 15 minutes of use. Call 763-4360 for more information on Sportwall rental and use.
